If I were able to give this place a 1/2 a star it would still be too generous! This review is for the salon part not the spa. I went for my wedding trial hair appointment and was very disappointed. My first clue should have been the 35 minutes that I had to wait even though I had an appointment! I came from out of town ( I live in PA) and when I finally got taken back I was not even given an apology for having to wait 35 minutes! Next, the stylist was super slow and every hair do she tried on me was the complete opposite of everything I told her I wanted. It s as if she didn t hear a word I was saying to her. She also used almost a whole bottle of hair spray on my hair and when I told her I didn t like what she had done she proceeded to comb out all of the hairspray! OUCH!! Also I was sitting in a chair in the back by the door and one of the other employees kept running out to smoke and left the door open. The smoke blew right back in my face....how unprofessional and disgusting is that? On top of all that when I got to the register she tried to charge me for hair and makeup. I told her that was not the price I was quoted and that I didn t get my makeup done today so it should only be half of that...right?? She then replies Oh yes sorry, I didn t know SHE quoted you that price. I didn t say anything because at this point I just wanted to get out of there but SHE WAS THE PERSON THAT QUOTED ME THE PRICING IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! So what she really meant is that SHE forgot what SHE quoted me! I could go on and on with my experience here but the bottom line is that I will NOT be using this salon for my wedding day and unless you are looking for the 80 s prom look with spit curls and baby s breathe I wouldn t recommend you go here either!
