I had a terrible experience here. First off the food is way overpriced. $30 for a strip steak. They charge $5 to share an already $13 bread appetizer. Yes there is a huge beer selection but the one I picked cost me $7. That is more than a six pack or even a very expensive brew in the city. The place wasn't even that busy but they had to have the karaoke obnoxiously loud. If you do have to go to this terrible restaurant, don't do it on a Wednesday. We ended up leaving early before even having our entree. Oh and by the way, I ordered the Manhattan Clam Chowder and got some sort of corn soup in gravy! Asked the waitress if this was really the chowder and she looked at me like I was crazy. I've never seen another Manhattan Chowder that wasn't white. Well I will never be going back and I hope the rest of you readers will heed my warning.

Eclectic Beer Selection: December 16, 2005: A restaurant is only as good as its beer selection. Goodfellows has the best beer selection among restaurants on the mainland in the Greater Atlantic City Area. There are about 70 bottles and draughts available. The beers available are more eclectic. There is Anchor Steam, Rogue Dead Guy Ale, Smuttynose Old Brown Dog Ale, etc.

Today, I had a draught Flying Fish Grand Cru Winter Reserve, which was very good.

December 5, 2006: They have a good beer selection, but it never changes. They never have any new beers to try. It is always the same 70 beers.

Always a Good time at Goodfellows: Goodfellows on the white horse pike has been around....well when I went to Stockton College they had been there for a while, I think over 20 some years. That tells you something already, they are a popular, well know restaurant that looks well taken care of, as a matter of fact it looks better inside then some new restaurants I've been to, they care and I like that.

There food is always consistent and good, I like to call it comfort foods the kind you grew up on, almost. Portions are awesome so be hungry. I love there cajun pasta! very different. and there new lasagna is better then most I've tried. My wife enjoys they chicken quesadilla's the best around she keeps telling me and don't forget cajun pork chops, killer. Service was a little slower then normal tonight but it was a new girl and hey I can cut someone some slack for that.

They have the best happy hour around my friends tell me, I'm not a big bar person. but I do like my beer and they have a kick ass selection of micro brews that a true beer lover can appreciate. all in all Goodfellows will remain on my top 10 list for best restaurants.
