   MoreIn the early 1930's, our Mom and Dad, Michael and Bruna, began learning the car business from the ground up working at a local car dealership. Soon they began to envision owning their own place-a place where they could create honesty, integrity, and value as the foundation for this dealership. In 1955 they got that opportunity with a FORD franchise in Woodbine, New Jersey, Gentillini Family Ford began in 1955 with Mom and Dad and 3 other employees. After building a successful business with a great reputation for service, price, and dependability Michael and Bruna retired in the mid 1970's, passing their role to the next Generation of Gentilini's: Wayne, Don, Michael and Arlene. In 1963 Gentillini Family Ford won their first distinguished achievement award and since 1979, has won the coveted Chairman's Award or the equivalent the Presidents Award every year since. Out of over 4000 Dealers nationwide the Presidents Award is awarded to less than 300 each year. The criteria for winning the award, is to maintain the highest scores in customer satisfaction based on surveys that the customers submit to Ford Motor Company. Since then we have won that prestigious award for 22 years making us one of the Top Ten Ford Dealers in the nation for customer service! The third generation of Gentilini's now plays an important role in the operation of our new State of the Art facility, which opened in November of 1998. Employing over 60 employees, 10 of them being family members. Some things at Gentilini Family Ford have changed since 1955 but some things will never change and that is taking care of the customer so they come back generation after generation. So after 45 years, Mom and Dad's vision is still a reality. Integrity, Value, and Honesty remains the cornerstone of everything we do.
