User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWell I eat here once a week on average. In fact we are shooting a music video in Mays Landing and I'll be hosting the cast and crew at the restaurant for our initial meeting next week.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI don't yet yanked by this chain: OK, we know Applebees is a chain restaurant that is found on a corner in just about every city, but that doesn't mean it doesn't deserve it's kudos.
Applebees is a great family restaurant. I have two children, 2 & 5. We try to go places where noise isn't an issue and the food is good. Applebees fits both those bills. The food is consistently good. I don't mean chain type good that's OK by many standards, I mean very good. The salmon dish is better than I have had in some top shelf restaurants, for a lot less money.
The service at the restaurant is consistently as good as the food. Yes, occasionally I have had to wait a little longer than I prefer for my food to get cooked, but that's a rarity. Usually my food is prepared in a timely manner and is served up hot. What more can you ask for? Glad you asked. The food is affordable. Really affordable.
The atmosphere is typical. Dark wood, stuff on the walls. It's nothing special to look at but it's always clean and comfortable.
The bottom line: Good food, cheap prices and nice service that is family friendly. Applebees is my son's (the 5 year old) favorite restaurant and we agree with him. It's pretty good. The optional pick-up service for those on the fly is an added bonus.
