Was not pleased whatsoever.
Had an extremely unprofessional waitress with a bad attitude. When one of the members of our party left the ID in the Hotel room, he politely declined to drink with the rest of the group and she then called the manager [which was an unnecessary act granted he politely and clearly made the point to consume any alcoholic beverages, Gino, who was equally disrespectful and abrupt with us. He did not allow anyone to interject about the situation and made it clear that he was the "owner" and nothing could be reported to anyone else. Furthermore, it seemed like an act of racial discrimination mixed with a prejudice outlook on "younger people" however myself and my colleague are both parents and could never imagine being treated in such an undignified manner.
Let me start by saying that they not only tack on 19% "service charge" to your bill, they hold an additional 20% to make sure they get paid from your credit card company. Of course they do not post their policies or advise you of these practices.
On to food: Mediocre, overpriced and poor service. When we asked for a veggie instead of fried we were curtly told "no substitions". Fries were drenched with an overpowering spicy seasoning making them too spicy for my 11 year old to eat. Lobster Ravioli in Vodka sauce was barely edible. Stuffed flounder was more stuff than flounder. They charge $2.00 for bread. for 4 adults and one child we paid $150 and that was just for entrees.
The place is cramped and more of a bar feel than anything. Silverware was dirty. I would never recommend this place.
The bartender was friendly and the server was nice however this evening I was expecting way too much from the food! I ordered the clams casino - worst I've ever had. Bacon was very undercooked and some of the clams didn't taste fresh. Then I ordered the crabcake sandwich that came with fries. I ordered the fries well done, came out drenched w/ grease and floppy, well under cooked to my request. I sent them back, they came out the same. The crabcake sandwich came plain w/ tarter on the side. NO garnish?! Presentation IS a main ingrediant! The one positive, I enjoyed the crabcake on it's own and was delicious. I do not recommend this restaurant you'll have better luck with a familiar chain than a supposed recommended local eatery.
