The bakery is expensive food too and they were very rude I will only go to the town and country I have lived in Bordentown my whole life...

My wife's parents are from that area and every time we visit they take us there they really like the diner. Every time we have been we have had problems with our order and the servers are rude and inconsiderate once they bring the food they never come back until its time for the check. The food is either swimming in butter, grease, or a block of cheese on top, and the food is ok at best. the bakery is pretty good but once my in-laws ordered a cake for our sons birthday and it wasn't what was ordered. They do not fill up your drinks during the whole meal. The only positive thing I can is the cheese bread and bakery is good; which is why I gave the review a 2 star instead of 1 star.

I don't understand the bad reviews on the site. There is something on the HUGHE menu for everyone, you can't say there is nothing you like. I have never had a problem with the food. They have a delicious bakery on premesis, and upon your seating at the table they serve you a basket of bread. There is cinamon bread and a yummy yummu cheese bread that is so sweet and tasty! My favorite time to go there is for breakfast, they have enormous omlettes and good potatoes. I also recommend the strawberry banana pancakes, they put Ihop to shame. The chicken marsala is awesome and so are their burgers.
