Went to the Lambertville Station for Valentine's Day with my fiancé and could not be happier. First of all, the food was outstanding. Not only the taste, but the portion sizes were perfect. Not too large, not to small. The Restaurant itself is very nice. Romantic, yet not stuffy.
Then there is the service â THE BEST. It's amazing how the little attentions to details make the dinning experience so much more enjoyable. For example, we ordered drinks before dinner as well as a bottle of wine to have with dinner. Our waiter brought the wine out right away, but left it sitting on ice next to our table while we finished our drinks - then opened the bottle when our first course arrived. Second, my fiancé didn't finish all of her meal, but wanted to bring home the leftovers. Our waiter boxed the leftovers, and then placed it on a service table nearby so that we could enjoy our desert & coffee with out having to find room on our table. The wait staff was attentive, but not overbearing and, like I said, paid attention to the little details that others just don't take the time to think about. It really made the experience so enjoyable, especially since it was a busy night being Valentine's Day.
Beautiful Restaurant & Wonderful Food: Beautiful setting, service and food! Very fun! We walked away from dinner and cocktails feeling like we should do it all over again soon..very soon!
Great place to bring new friends to impress foodies!
Loved It: We had been to the Lambertville Station Restaurant and loved it so much, we had to check out the Inn too. Great place, great ambiance, great value, great service. And once again, we got to eat at the Lambertville Station Restaurant (now our all-time favorite when we're in the Hunterdon and Buck's Counties areas). We also tried the food in the Station Pub -- great bar food and music!
