Good-- and sometimes great-- neighborhood Italian place that offers a lot. Really like this place. Wish it were in Princeton, where there are very few restaurants where you can bring the family without dressing up.
Shared a great Chicken Caesar Salad, while My Better Half had Penne with a Tomato Vodka Sauce and I dug into Orecchiette with Sausage and Mushrooms.
The family at an adjacent table were feasting on a Brooklyn pizza (something previously unknown to me) which is a rectangular pan pizza, offered with a variety of toppings. Theirs looked like an entire antipasti platter was poured over a baked pizza crust, and all five were clearly enjoying it.
Definitely want to visit here again, esp. since it is BYO, which is always inviting. Decor is strip mall minimal-- but word is they plan on sprucing it up very shortly, while still retaining the welcome extended to families while also appealing even more to those who want more than pizza.
If it was in my immediate neigborhood, I'd be a weekly visitor. Good, cheap, tastey, and friendly.
There is a saying about restaurants in Italy that goes, "The more you spend, the less you get." At Antimo's, you get a lot!
Antimo's Italian kitchen is the best place to go for Italian food. You can tell that Antimo's uses only the best ingredients in their meals and pizza and will use nothing less or cheap. When I don't have time to cook for family only Antimo's will do. I also had a party catered by Antimo's and everyone raved about the food and how delicious it was. I am never disappointed in the quality of their food. Their prices also are pretty reasonable. If you want the best I'd try Antimo's!
Antimo's has the best pizza I've tasted since I lived in Brooklyn.
The sauce is excellent and the crisp crust just brings back memories. And the dinners are delicious.
The staff was so warm. Antimo and his family treated me like I was part of the family.
I love the ambiance with the brick all around.
I would recommend Antimo's to anybody who appreciates good food and people.
