Windsor Car Wash

We wanted just a simple exterior car wash, but were charged for "full service." This was double the price! When we protested, the manager claimed we were wrong, that he heard us outside and would not budge on the price. This is a misleading organization or, worse, deliberately trying to rip off customers. We anrgily paid the $15 full service fee and claimed we will never return there. We also plan to tell everyone we know not to go there. Avoid this car wash!

Ambiguous Pricing, decent wash: I asked for a plain car wash (just the wash, none of the other stuff). When I got to the counter I was charged for the Full Service wash (almost double the price), to which I responded that was not what I asked for.

The manager was called and proceeded to tell me I was wrong, I got what I asked for. Specifically the pricing sign lists an Exterior Wash (to me that means a car wash) and a Full Service wash (which includes vacuuming), and some additional features (undercarriage, etc). He suggested that the sign was clear. I told him that if someone asks for a Car Wash, and it is not clear they should clarify with "Exterior or Full Service?". He proceeded to argue I was wrong, to which I paid the extra money and left in frustration.

So in the end, the pricing is not clear, make sure you state specifically what is on the sign. I might even say, "the $6 one...". The managers insistence that I was wrong, although the signage is ambiguous was disappointing. I would consider shopping (washing) elsewhere in the future.

That being said, the wash was fine. Just like any other car wash.
