The best design and the most successful construction work is accomplished when, as a team of Owner, Architect and Contractor, we stay close to this concept and keep the conversation open and clear. We take this dialogue seriously, for, as Winston Churchill once said "We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us." We also look beyond this observation to include the environment as 'shaped' by our work as well, and therefore sustainability is always a design factor of significance at least, if not a primary objective. Our buildings should be representative of an effort to both raise humanity and enhance the environment. Finally, our main interest is to see the client's goals and objectives realized, including time and budget constraints, not our own agenda superimposed.
