Were the reviews that were written before this one, written by people who WORK at this place??
This was six different kinds of bad!!
1) Bathrooms were dirty.
2) Employees were very unhelpful and the service was poor. We were seated at the counter and it still took almost ten minutes to wait on us.
3) Employees stood around gossiping about their personal lives and customers within earshot of other customers.
4) Food was mediocre. Even though we ordered relatively uncomplicated items..they came back not done very well.
5) Too small and not that clean in the dining area.
6) Worst breakfast I've had in about ten years )that wasn't served in a brown bag...or that didn't come from a vending machine)

I called the Princeton Dept. of Health as I spotted at least SIX non-critical food handling and safety items while I was seated.
I had considered refusing to pay,but I decided that writing this review and letting the Health Dept. know about how they run their business is good enough.
AVOID this place.AVOID this place. AVOID this place.

P.J.'s Pancake House: I love P.J.'s.....I have been going here since I have been a little girl....they have the most amazing pancakes you will ever eat! When I was 12 years old, I carved my name in one of the tables there....and now the carved tables are one of the things they are famous for, too...well, I sure wasn't the first to do it, hahaha. Anyway, it is a place not to be missed when visiting Princeton, New Jersey!!

Local Treasure: Great pancakes and more. Good burgers, turkey clubs, and milkshakes too. One stop shopping (dining). Classic informal atmosphere.
