User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWesley's Pub in Roebling, NJ is the real deal. It's what every trendy dive bar in New York tries to recreate. The space itself isn't very impressive, although the architecture dates back over 100 years. There's a restaurant section that is very rarely used. But pull up a bar stool, and enjoy the local flavor. Chat with the lovable friendly bartenders, or have a drink with the owner, who is very down to Earth. The food is outstanding. I can't get enough of the Cajun and Hot Wings, the Burger, and the Calamari. There's a big screen TV with Wii Sports, and if you want the real thing there's also a pool table rarely in use. It's a wonderful hole in the wall if you're looking for some interesting conversation or even a place to sit, chow, and collect your thoughts.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsVerann's (of Wesley's Pub Inc.) is fantastic!: Verann's looks small from the outside, but when you walk in, you're surprised at the size and beauty of the dining room. The specials are are on a chalkboard near the door, and they always sound delicious. Their pecan crusted chicken is to die for! They have a nice kid's menu too, so it's family friendly. My 6 year old prefers their spaghetti. The ambiance is very nice and you'll want to walk around the room to look at the photographs on the walls. The food is a little pricey, but it's very tasty and you get large portions that are very much worth the money. Wesley's Pub is connected to the restaurant and although I've not been there, it looks like a really nice little bar. They also have a really excellent selection of sandwiches for lunch.
