    My 3rd son is about to start Mrs. Pev's in a week. The staff there is very caring and make you feel like part of their family. They truly have the best interests of your child in mind and you can go to work knowing your children are in great hands!
    If you are comparing schools (like I did since I am a teacher) you will find no other that compares. They are less expensive than the chains and offer FREE classes with Wacky Gym and Music every week. Other centers charge for those same activities. They also have the local fire dept, dentist, Santa, and other special guests come talk to the children. They school organizes Sat or Sun. field trips that the kids love! (Pumpkin picking, Disney on Ice) Mrs. Pev's has been a part of our life since 2002 and will continue to be until 2013 when my youngest heads to Kindergarten.

    Why this place made my final list

    I had the pleasure of visiting the school and Mrs. Pevs is a wonderful and caring teacher/owner of the place. I only wished the daycare was not on a busy street and looked more like the state of the art centers I've seen like Kindercare. But this place is half the price of Kindercare and really as long as your child is loved there maybe I can give up the need for a state-of-the-art center like Kindercare.

    However I did see that the place had all more mature teachers and not just teenie bobber girls which I like and is putting this school into my final list.

    I had my daughter in a previous daycare nearby which supposedly was very good and all she did was cry. As soon as I placed her in Mrs. Pev's preschool not only did she become a happy child, but she loved school. She would come home talking about all the great things she learned which included music! We've since moved to NC a year ago, she's now in Kindergarden and she still talks about how much she misses this school and her friends in it. The teachers and staff are truly caring and the kids actually learn, not just play. It's a great school.
