All Applebees are bad and this one is a little worse. My first gripe with all Applebees is the fact they do not consider Yuengling a domestic beer for happy hour purposes and charge you the import price. I argued this point with the manager of Applebees in Howell and she told me some ridiculous story about how they had a waitress one time who was accidentally charging the domestic price on Yuengling and had to be reprimanded. Why? She was doing the right thing. Secondly, most of the food at any Applebees is pretty bad, but the steak they serve at these resteraunts is disgusting. Now to focus on the Brick Applebees. The first problem I had with this place was that they tried to cut me off after three margaritas. The waiter said that if I was going to order another drink the manager was going to need to speak to me. Ok, thats fine I doubt there was a grand total of two shots of alcohol in those three drinks put together. The manager never came over and the waiter got me a beer anyway. When I finished he asked me if I was Ok to drive. Yeah, I am fine. I had three weak drinks and a light beer, I think I'll make it. Lastly, if you are looking to go somewhere to watch a sporting events find another place. They have two TV's from the 1980's that will continually run ads about specials at Applebees. Come on guys lets splurge a little and put up a few flat screens.
