Forked River German Butcher

great potato salads (esp german) and london broil. that's pretty much all i've ever had there, these are staples of our diet when we're at the boat.

Wow!! I just had my third trip to the Forked River Butcher. I recently moved back to Lacey and on a whim decided to stop in after work one day. I helped myself to some ready meals [sauerbraten, mashed potatoes and chicken joseph], and I could not wait to get home to try them. Everything was spectacular! The food is not only delicious and homemade, but also very reasonable. I definately would recommend this place to anyone.

Well we just went there for the third time in about 5 weeks. We live about 100 miles away and even with these crazy gas prices we have been finding any way possible to combine other trips with a stop here. Everything we have gotten has been very high quality and the prices are excellent. Cold meats, home made hot dogs, kielbasa, pork filets with dry rub, salads, meals like beef burgundy and pasta with vodka sauce, home made pierogies, and their incredible stuffed breads that must weigh about 2 pounds are just some of the items we have enjoyed. The staff have always been very helpful and we enjoy not only the food but the whole experience. My only complaint is that they are not closer! If you are ever in the area you must stop there. You will not be disappointed with the incredible quality, variety, and deliciousness!
