Spike's Fish Market & Rstrnt

This place IS the place to go! There's no other Lobster Bisque like Spike's makes it. My husband and I have been getting that for the last 11 years, some things never change and that's a GOOD thing! :-) The homemade chowders (red stuff and white stuff, as they call it, lol) is very delicious. The place is small but beautiful and quaint near Christmas time right by the inlet.

a "must go to" kind of place!: If you love seafood...then go to Spike's! It's a small place, not a fancy dining area, but awesome seafood! And if you're going there for dinner, I THINK it's a B.Y.O.B.! (so you know the food is great!) And try their key lime pie! It's the best around!

Best Seafood in NJ: Spike's is very small and most days there is a wait for a table since it is small. But let me say it is worth every minute because the food is PHENOMANAL. The Lobster Bisque is to die for and the freshness of everything else is incomparable. There are a few other restaurants in the area that are nice and fancy but you end up over paying and the food is no where near as good as it is here. I HIGHLY recommend this little jewel if you are ever down the Jersey Shore.
