User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe best pizza in New Jersey. So popular that it's recommended to eat there at 11am or 2pm, although even when the tables are full, the food is so good you won't mind. A great spot on the boardwalk. Pizza is great after freezing, as well. Somewhere between thin crust and standard, the ingredients and the bread are terrific. Pizza is cooked long enough - can't say that about all the competitors!
A true landmark for the State. I'm sure the restaurant of the same name on Route 70, apparently a new addition, is also notable, but there's something special about the boardwalk Maruca's.
It appears that the Owners are actually involved in the food prep., and exhibit their gifts occasionally. You're getting an extra treat watching people who are carefully working their craft. Main Cook, and staff are professional, warm, and friendly.

Nothing else says PIZZA like MARUCAS!!! A Jersey Shore CLASSIC!!
