Great sushi!! My girlfriend and I have frequented about 5 or 6 sushi restaurants in Whitehouse and Flemington and were pleasantly surprised by Wasabi. I used to work in Clinton haven't been in town much the past few years so it was a delight to find this place! Very small and cozy, nice staff and the sushi was great. We were a little disappointed miso soup and salad does not come with meals as it does with most other places, but the sushi combo for 2, which we usually get, was less money, but also prepared differently and very good! We like our usual place in Whitehouse, but this may become a more regular visit as its much closer to my townhouse. The food all came quick, so instead of ordering takeout, just go in and sit down for a half hour. Stop in and try it out sometime!! :)

They have the worst take out service I have ever seen. I placed an order and was told it would take an hour, which I thought was ridiculous. I showed up and they still had not started it and told me it would take another 25 minutes. I told them to cancel it and walked out.
If it happened once I would understand, but that's the second time. I'll never go back!

I've been to dozens of sushi houses throughout NJ, NYC and Philly including Iron Chef Morimoto's and "J" at Wasabi creates the freshest, tastiest sushi by far. Very traditionally made, not a "Fussion" sushi house. Doesn't use fancy sauces or makes the food look like birds. Just good fresh food.
