Shogun 27 is the worst Japanese food restaurant. It is only looks like japanese, but the food and their waiters and chefs has nothing to do with Japanese. The Sushi is not fresh and tastes terrible, Hibachi food looked all brown dark color, simply mixed with soy sauce with rice, fish, or meat. Terrible, terrible, terrible....
Absolutely wonderful! I've been eating sushi for many years, and this is probably some of the BEST sushi rolls and soups I've ever tasted. The service was also wonderful. The prices are about average for a Japanese hibachi/sushi restaurant, but I would have paid much more for the exquisite food and service! Highly recommended.
It's the old name but not the same.: I find it funny that a Japanese restaurant has no Japanese employees from sushi chefs to servers. The owners seem to be Chinese and the sushi does not reflect true fresh Japanese cuisine. You would think that a 60 dollar sushi boat would have a variety of fish but not here. A dish that serves 2 had a single shrimp and a single octopus. The place was not as clean as a couple of years ago and the serve staff was limited.
If I were you, I would look for a small little place that has an authentic sushi chef and fresher more generous fish.
