I went to Fire N Ice for a wedding this past weekend and I must say that my experience, as well as others, was very poor. Although the food was good and the lounge area was decent. The service was horrible. This was a private party and the lounge was closed for normal business. I spent the majority of the evening downstairs in the lounge after they decided to open the bar. The bartender didn't know how to make certain drinks and the prices for most of the drinks were extremely overpriced. I can't get over the fact that their prices are comparable to most NYC clubs, while their establishment is far below par. The management was very poor, rude and unorganized. This, by far, was the worst establishment I have visited in a long time. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to enjoy yourself.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI like the idea of a "desi" club in Central NJ and hence do drop in occasionally. The quality of music and the crowd have taken a nosedive over the last couple of years. In 2005-06, I actually enjoyed the club. When I visited a couple of weeks ago w frnds, on a Saturday night, I was quite taken aback by the thin crowd.. tipsy single men, and the bad music. I do think the managment should start promtoing it well, control the crowd and improve the ambience, or else it's reputation will soon be reduced to that of a cheap bar with desperate single men.
