Whether it's eat-in or take out, Bamboo house has good food for a fair price. A buffet is available Mon-Fri from 11:30 to 2:00--get there before 1:30, however, for the best selections.
The pork fried rice is tasty, and I've yet to see it over done. The dumplings are cooked well, and the boneless BBQ spare ribs are just right. The main items are favorites: lo mein, General Tso's Chicken, beef and chicken dishes, and often a tofu dish in a tasty brown sauce.
The only caveat is if you order soup, they only have the small bowls (1 cup)available. Beverages are limited to some bottled iced tea flavors, canned soda, hot tea and water.
Take out consists of the usual chinese fare. My favorites include the Shrimp in Lobster Sauce combo dinner, the Dragon and Phoenix (sesame chicken and shrimp in chile garlic sauce) chef's special, and Buddah's delight.
Parking is limited to on-street, but is usually within 1/2 a block from the resturant. Open 7 days a week. Enjoy.
