I've been dealing with these folks for over 25 years, and they have always been helpful. My first Snapper rider lasted 25 years, and my new Snapper Lawn Tractor is, so far, performing the work load I require, on rough, hilly lawns. Whatever repairs I've asked in the past were done well, and at what I consider a reasonable price. Some simple repairs I do myself, such as oil changes, belt changes, etc. They have, when requested, picked up my (old) tractor when I didn't have time to drop it off. I continue doing business with them, because of the personal service they've provided over the years. I have no trouble recommending Esposito's, my experiences have all been good.
In summary, no way. Bought a $2500 commercial lawn mower from them, they built and delivered it, and on my 1st or 2nd use a bolt came loose from the steering controls. The mower careened dangerously out of control and onto the curb damaging the blade. They fixed the bolt, but didn't offer to sharpen the blade back to new condition. I wrote it off as a fluke.
A few years later I called for a general service/tune up quote and what was included. They had a horrible attitude and wouldn't provide any info saying they couldn't give a quote until it's in their shop and they looked it over. They made the analogy that the "Doctor doesn't quote you a price until he checks you out." Sure, maybe, but a better analogy for this situation is a car dealer or mechanic, who will easily quote over the phone that an oil change, air filter, new plugs, adjusting tensioners...will cost $X, take 2 hours, and can fit you in on Tuesday. Nothing of the sort with this family-run business.
Their customer service was so bad I chose not to use them. It's ashame - everyone bemoans the death of the small, family-run or local business to large corporations, but this one reason why they're headed for extinction.
Will never go back to this dealer for equipment or service, which reminds me, I also bought a $300 string trimmer on another occasion. You'd think they'd have good customer service to their repeat customers. Not repeat anymore! I'll drive an extra 15 miles to go to the next nearest dealer to buy equipment or for service from now on.
Very Efficient: Service, and fairness very well established.
