The beer selection is fantastic, but the service was horrible. When we complained, the bartender was agressive to the point where it seemed he wanted to fight us. Also, the food is bland and overpriced. It it insult to cajun food.
Great place with great food and great service. Everyone was having a good time and when everyone else has a good time, I have a good time.
Local legend Ralph waited on us and he was great!
I love the Old Bay!!!
While maintaining a somewhat classic cajun look, the food says otherwise. I ordered the gumbo, jambalaya, and ate some of my buddy's etoufe. The food was sub par. The gumbo lacked that nutty flavor from the perfect roux and was overly soupy....this is because there was little evidence of okra and a pure lack of sasafras. As for the jambalaya, I couldn't even taste the andouille sausage. Normally the sausage is what stands out on the plate, but it was cooked so long that each ingredient could not be recognized. The etoufe....don't get me started but the crawfish had no flavor. They were overcooked and the dish lacked proper cajun seasoning as well as the nutty roux flavor mentioned before.
