About:This simple restaurant located in the Korean section of Murray Hill serves tasty, authentic Korean food. Han Bat may look modest from the outside, but the chefs do not skimp on flavor. The spicy seafood stew warms your bones on cold winter days. Bimimbop, the Korean national dish made of vegetables and rice with chili sauce and a fried egg on top, is fresh and piled high. And every meal comes with several types of ban chan side dishes.

they have the best beef rib soup(Kai Bi Tun) and the seafood pan cake, no other Korean make it better than them, if you like spicy stuff, I recommand Soo Yuk mui chun, this is beef, togue, tendents...with water crest and hot spicy dressing, but make sure you have more than 3 people because the portions are big, they are real Korean style "comfort" food!

if u want something other than that same old boring bbq, i recommend this place. han bat doesn't serve bbqs but its menu is full of good, authentic korean dishes. short rib bbq is over-rated and over-priced anyway. i can't understand how traditional palate of koreans have evolved to appreciate one of the most toughest part of beef.
han bat has the best soondoobu in new york.
however, don't expect much from their service.
