I have been going to the Shadow for years.I've met alot of people there. The music was better when J Donkers was the DJ.Suga'Diddy is good and should always be at the turntables. The women are not as inclined to hit the floor when the fellas ask. They then need to stay at home. The club should go back to the age 25 and older.
Shadow used to be my main party spot . Its a very nice venue with good music and mature crowd. I havent been in awhile .There is a dress code, though its not as strictly enforced as it used to be.Women can now wear jeans. The price is very affordable ,esp comared to other Nyc night club venues that on average charge $20 and up .Certain nights its free for everyone. Other nights free for ladies before a certain time. However you will never have to pay more than $10-$15 to party at Shadow . If you come to enjoy yourself and dance to good music with other mature grown folks this is the place to be.If you just want to stand around and stare at people or give off attitude this may not be the venue for you.My only complaint is the long boring telephone recording. They should have 1 brief but informative recording to play information about that particular night. If you want information about friday ,you have to lidten to a long recording qwhich includes info about every night that they are open.Yoo long. Cut it down!
The shadow agreat club but they need to change the age group back to 25 and over it's suppose to be a mature Crowd

I agree, the 25 and older age group sounds more appropriate, now a days, all the clubs are relenting and letting the "youngins" take over. When I hear good music, all I do is Dance Dance Dance !!!!!
I also agree. I'm desiring a real spot that caters to a mature crowd. I love house and underground types of music , I want to DANCE the nite away!! If any of you have found such a place, I would love to meet you there. Let a Sista know..Peace
