A nice selection of toys, even some older ones (found one of the old Marvel Super Heroes from early 90's).
Staff was helpful but have to question the whole checking your bag at the door, is it really neccessary??
Limited back issues but many from recent months are still cover price.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI also hop in and out of here on my way to my part time job. It helps me decompress before I go to work the night shift. It's also nice to browse through on my day off or when I'm just in the area on a Saturday night, I like the fact that they're open late.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAnother Excellent Comic Book Store: When I am around Union Square, I love going to Forbidden Planet. I have been going there since my teen years. Its not Jim Hanley's Universe, it too has a valuable collection of both independent and mainstream comics including Sci-fi and Horror.
Looking to buy or sell good comics, I highly recommend going there!
