   Pacific Aquarium & Pet Incorporated is one of my favorite place in New York City , I recentley got as a gift a 29 gallon salt water tank in my apartment and went to this store after finding it on Yahoo Yellow Pages with great reviews and seeing all the great reviews. There don't seem to be many stores in Manhattan that have good salt water places. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable, which was great. they had a large selection of fish and equipment. price are ok compare to petland etc ... , I Got from this store one of a very rare fish and I am soo happy , Thank you Pacific & Pet Incorporated

   For some reason rating would not rate it a five star. I give it a 10 plus! I shop there almost exclusively now, even though it is far for me to travel to. Why? Knowledgeable, courteous staff, clean tanks, and healthy fish. They let me trade in my wood for product and special order the fish I like. No pushing by staff, and since I am extremely experienced, it is great to talk to staff who know their business. I did so many rescues at my local Petland with uncaring, unknowledgeable staff who pushed inappropriate fish on newbies, I couldn’t take it anymore. Price wise, in between Petland discounts (I buy some online for less, but one must consider shipping costs)and New World with it's horrific rude staff and higher then norm prices (although for finding Anubias can't be beat!).
   
   The extra plus is I buy my fresh fish and vegetables for much less in Chinatown, and get my art supplies all in same area. NYC at it’s best!
