Only 2 gripes: 1. It's little out of the way from subway station (this may be a good thing after a full meal), and 2. they do not take credit cards (what's up with all these NYC restaurants that do not take CC?) Other than those, it's almost perfect. We had fried oysters and huevo ranchero from the brunch menu, and both were great. Multi-berries scone was nice and moist inside, definitely one of the best we've had.
Brunch at Clinton Street Baking Company: The one thing about the Clinton Street Baking Company, is the brunch. Found in the lower east side on Clinton St, you'll find brunch paradise. Great biscuits replace traditional muffins in eggs benedict, toast in breakfast sandwiches and almost any one dish that requires some sort of bread.
Of particular pleasure, the blueberry pancakes with their caramel syrup, the crab cake sandwich, and finally the truffled eggs with asparagus, artichoke hearts, balsamic and olive oil.
Make sure you get there early. This spot is jumping.
