About:This independent establishment, on the Lower East Side, sells some of the best doughnuts in New York City. Owner, and doughnut lover, Mark Isreal has devoted years of his life to producing the perfect doughnut, and the crowds who flock here certainly think he has succeeded. Even some celebrities have been known to stop in for a treat. All the oversized doughnuts are made daily, using fresh, organic ingredients. A number of classic varieties are available, including glazed, chocolate and jelly.

    Getting there early is the key! You find all the divine doughnuts I have ever eaten. I got tres leches, blackout, yeast fresh blueberry and yeast lavender. I recommend for everyone to go there and enjoy...

    i went there last summer, and they were the best doughnuts ive ever had or will have. i highly recommend doughnut plant to everyone. i heard about it on "throwdown with boby flay"
