I could get lost in this bookstore, but in a good way. They have just about any book you are looking for. I love just browsing through the interesting books and magazines. I have also found some great deals here as well. It can be a little overwhelming finding something if you have not been here before.
I looooooooooooooooooooooove the store I shop there all the time when I want to purchase some reading material but I must admit some of the employees there are very rude and nasty. they need to pick better employees with not just a literary background but who has respect for there customers because we're the ones that keep that bookstore open and keeps them employed!!!!! I've seen an employee yell and scream at a customer and it was such a shame because everyone including the other employees around were shocked... he should of been fired to treat a customer like that! and others are just rude and sarcastic when you approach them it makes me not want to go there to be honest with you. They should hire better employees because its a shame to have such a wonderful store filled with nasty people and thats the honest truth.
Strand Book Store - Four Stars: Indeed, the Strand has miles of bookshelves ripe for the browsing, but it isn't the most comfortable place and it is sometimes difficult to locate something specific. Avoid in the summertime, as the heat is something straight out of a Tennessee Williams work. Good prices.
