I go here every time I'm in New York. Everything I've tried - for lunch and dinner - has been amazing. On top of that, their service is always been *impeccable*

Comfortable with no pretense: We started with fried calamari with spicy anchovy mayonnaise (perfect crispness and not too oily). For entree we ordered the scallop and fillet mignon of tuna with wasabi mash potato. Both were excellent. We finished the meal with lemon cream napoleon with pistachio and lavender ice cream, which looked very pretty and tasted good (but not memorable). All in all, we liked the comfortable setting and great service (bit on the slow side but that might be a good thing these days). Table arrangements was little awkward. It can be expensive side but I guess it's not bad considering the quality of the food served.
