One of the city's best kept secrets. This stand alone museum that houses some of the NYPD's most wonderful artifacts is downtown, steps away from South Street Seaport. The building is the oldest precinct building in New York City and there are 3 floors of very interesting exhibits.
Currently the Lt Petrosino show just opened and is worth the trip alone.
They also have a wonderful gift shop.
