When you only have an hour or less for lunch in the downtown area, you look for a place that has good food and a friendly atmosphere. Over time, 17 has proved to be that place. Not only will you get a great lunch, but a special touch from the folks who make it their business to treat you right. Try the sandwiches, caeser salad, calamari or buffalo wings.
I stopped in with a few friends last week for drinks. The food smelled great, so we took our drinks from the bar and sat in the dining room. the food is delicious. We had a few steaks (rib eye & sirloins)made just the way we ordered, excellent salmon, big beautiful shrimp, and calamari made just the way it was meant to be. The place has a classy look/feel to it, especially with the sinatra music playing. The waiters and bartender were very friendly. The owner came over and bought us a round of drinks. Just a very nice place, with great food and regular people. The prices are reasonable. definitely a place to go when you want to eat & drink!
17 Murray is great!: I have been there twice now and I must say they have THE BEST chicken wings and Calamari. Both times the staff were very friendly and cool. Definitely a great place to go eat some wings after happy hour!
