This is still my favorite local place in the East Village after more than 15 years. The food is always delicious, catering to vegetarians and carnivores. The drinks are always fresh with a wide selection. The service is always good, no matter how busy it is. Whether you just stop in for a drink or a meal, the ambiance, service and food is great. Whenever my out-of town friends visit, we go to Life Cafe.
