Along with good food, that makes this East Village spot a great place for an intimate lunch or dinner. loved it. everything we had was perfectly portioned and cooked very very well. it's actually 28 seats and yes the waitstaff isn't your typical "fake nice, working for my tip" kind but they know their stuff and even if they are a little arrogant it's only because they know the food is amazing. really nice, extensive wine list as well for those of you who love wine as much as i do. higly recommended!
AMAZING: I was there this past fall visting one of my best friends who moved to the city, and I had the chillen sea bass, with lobster bisque as an appitizer along with trying mussels for the first time. TO DIE FOR!! I loved it and cant wait to go back, red wine was shared around my table with friends which was equally as yummy, ENJOY!!
One of the better French places in the city: This place has great food the service depends on the day you go it is a small place but gets packed on the weekend. Of course some of best French food I have had has been here, with a extensive wine list you need to check this place out. Its a small romantic place the problem is that every one and their mom knows about this place now. Try to go during the week so you don't have wait too long for your food. The price you pay for your meal is very reasonable you pay at least twice as much for food in mid town for food not even half as good
