A Taste of Belgium in the Village: The Belgians aren't known for their cuisine, but they should. And Cafe de Bruxelles isn't known as a great dining experience, but it should as well. With authentic fare framed in a real bistro-like atmosphere, Cafe de Bruxelles really delivers. The waitstaff was attentive and on their game but not overbearing and the food was everything I've ever loved about Belgian cuisine.
It can get crowded, so reservations may be necessary unless you want to eat in the bar area, which is not a bad thing if you appreciate a lively atmosphere. Every time I'm in New York City, I go to Cafe de Bruxelles.
