One of the best Indian restaurants. The food was terrific. I haven't had such good Indian food outside of India. The service was great as well. We had the Rajasthani Sooley for an appetizer, Murg Lajawab and the shrimp special that night. All the dishes were wonderfully fresh and flavorful. We even had their dessert special which had four different flavors of kulfi. Delicious! Will go back when we return to NYC.

Fantastic Indian food: One of the best Indian restaurants that I have been. The dishes are so flavorful and great presentation. Entree dishes were about $20-40. which is reasonable in New York. A restaurant that I highly recommend.

A lot of talk but no action: I heard about this restaurant through (who else)-Rachel Ray. I should have known better because of the source. I ordered Konju Pappas (in spicy Coconut Sauce)-which was good but not worth the price. Can get same and better for cheaper Also had a tough and bland piece of lamb. The dish was Lamb Pasanda. For 20 something dollars it was a true rip off. I don't know what the big to-do is about. Incredibly overrated and overpriced!!

I agree with your review! We tried the coconut based she crab soup as an entrée...there was no flavor what so ever! It was like tasting white colored water. the main course was ok but highly over priced. This place is a rip off! I ate at a FANTASTIC dinner @ the Blue Water Grill the evening before. 320$ for 3 people from entrée to desert including wine & digestif. The service, ambiance and food was absolutely out of this world.
