| About: | Many New Yorkers believe Il Mulino restaurant nestled in Greenwich Village has the finest classic Italian cuisine in New York City. As a result, reservations can be very hard to come by, but it is often much easier to snag a table at lunch. A meal at Il Mulino can be quite expensive, but portions are definitely on the large side. The service is of course professional and attentive, and the decor is classy and subdued. |

The Totally Best: This is the best Italian Restaurant that I have had a pleasure of going to. The food is esquisite and made fresh as you wait. It is very hard to get a reservation here so you have to do it in advance and it is pricey, but the service, the waiters, the maitre'd and the chef are superb!!!
Old World Italian Food like Mom use to make!: Dislikes - None, this restaurant offers everything and more. Il Molino reminds me so much of dinner at grandmas and moms I get choked up thinking about it. The food, service, ambiance and value are all top of the line. I enjoy the atmosphere as well, you feel at home yet are treated with dignity and class. The choice of wines and food is in such variety you can go back 7 days a week, drink and eat something different all 7 days. Variety is the spice of life , just like my grandma and mom said, and variety in wine and food is so much a part of making their statement true. II Molino to die for.
AMAZING!: It's worth the work you have to go through to get a reservation! I dream about the food at Il Mulino, especially the pasta!
