So this is an upscale retails chain in Manhattan, they cater to the rich and the not rich enough need not apply. It was apparant from the second I stepped through the door that I wasn't worth the hippie salesperson's time.
I wanted to ask questions about some tiles and everyone on the tile floor was too busy. A very loud woman with an Irish accent told me it wasn't her department but "patience is a virtue." Then she went to the sales staff cubicle (where they were eating their lunch instead of helping me) and complained that I asked for service.
She must have gone into another room and complained before because one by one people came out to look at me and go back about their business.
After 45 minutes of wandering the showroom and asking people to help, only to be told they are busy I left. Oh and while I was there a woman in a fur coat came in and they all fell over themselves running up to help her. Guess they smelled a good commission.
Never again.
