| About: | Live music, long tables, pitchers of beer and wine - these things surely add up to great, rowdy fun, which is exactly what you can expect to have at Puglia. It is also reasonably priced, and the standard Southern Italian food is better than most of the tourist traps lining Mulberry Street in Little Italy. Try such standby dishes as Veal Parmigiana and Linguine with Clam sauce. |

Lovely Pizza: just to sum things up....the brick oven pizza was quite apeasing for my first try...since I have nothing else to compare it to..it will get a good rating....
MMMMMMMMMM: TRY THE GRILLED CHICKEN W/ SPINACH PIZZA, SORRY LOMBARDI, I HAD TO GO WITH THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!
Best Antipasta and Veal Parm: I have been going to Puglia since the 1970's. No better Veal Parm anywhere
and the Garlic bread is to die for. Always liked the homemade and bottled
red table wine. Go for the Mussels as an appetizer. Terri Perri used to sing
Italian songs there but not sure if she is still around. We had great times in
sing-a-longs with other restaurant guests. Best time to go: September for
Festival San Genaro
