| About: | Thailand Restaurant is considered to be one of the best and most authentic Thai restaurants in town. The space gets crowded with people from all parts of the city, who load in to Chinatown to gorge on inexpensive and extremely spicy food. The decor is not very exciting and has almost a cafeteria feel, but that should not discourage you. Try the chicken with red curry and curry coconut soup, and the Pad Thai. Do not leave without ordering the Thai iced tea. |

User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsPongsri offers authentic Thai food in an Americanized atmosphere. The food was great but not the best Thai ever. Prices were in the medium category averaging $11.00 for an entree. The service was satisfactory. I would recommend this as a fun dinning adventure for visitors to NYC exploring Chinatown. Enjoy, I did.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThe coconut rice is fabulous, and the thai iced tea is also very tasty. I wasn't thrilled by one of the Pongsri Recommendations that I ordered (a curry, seafood casserole), but the service was good and overall the food was good too. I will definitely go back.

Its very tasty and the service is great, I had a great time here for lunch and have gone also a couple of times for dinner, I cant get enough! I highly recommend this place, and its so affordable! the prices are insane.enjoy!
