Magnificent New York brick-oven pizza with fresh toppings makes this cramped, noisy pizza parlor with an overworked staff worth going to. Weather permitting, dining in the backyard garden improves the experience significantly. Some even claim Lombardi's serves the best pizza in the five boroughs. Try it yourself and join one of the oldest debates in New York City. The pizza heaped with fresh chopped clams is certainly a slice to remember. Reservations are not accepted.
I went to Lombardi's for the first time in October 2009 with a Friend. He highly recommended Lomabarid's Pizza I was saying John's in the Village. Well I am v ery glad I went with his suggestion because the Pizza was Fantastic. The atmosphere was rustic and it was very crowded but who cares about crowds when the food is worth the wait, and when your out with friends and hanging at the bar having a beer and just chatting away. Good food, nice place, friendly staff what more can you ask for from a Landmark Pizzeria. I cant wait to go back again.
I have told everyone i know about Lombardi's except my brother he owns a Pizzeria down the shore. so ssshhh please keep my secret!
OH MY! Was it ever wonderful! I was in NYC for 3 days with my daughters, we ate lunch there on the first day. It was sooo good we had to go back again before we left!
