Company Information: This upscale yet fairly casual spot is named after a former Lower East Side neighborhood, where sin and crime reigned unchecked. The restaurant is located in trendy Noho, which is nowhere near where the Five Points neighborhood once stood. Regardless, it offers excellent food and service to a hip crowd. The menu offers such interesting and tasty dishes as Quail Choucroute, Marguez Sausage-Stuffed Grape Leaves, lobster salad, grilled whole fish, and lamb stew with yogurt and hummus.
Hours of Operation: Lunch & Dinner daily, Brunch Sat.-Sun.

Best brunch in Manhattan: I love 5 points. Everytime I've gone back for brunch, I've had a different menu item and each time it continues to impress. Its a very trendy yet serene spot. The host is very accomodating and its overall a great experience.
Birthday Celeb: The lighting for me makes a difference in setting the mood, and the glamour of the plate presentation. The atmosphere was friendly and you could feel the energy people were having a great time, with enough space for yourself.
mmmmm: here's the perfect brunch - start with the ricotta fritters. then have the baked eggs with salsa verde and tortillas. always a classic, always great.
