AMAZING!!: Had dinner there this week with someone who is a regular and did all the ordering for the table....I honestly can't name one bad thing....my favorites were the Ribollita (Tuscan Bread Soup) I had never had that before and it was GREAT! The meatballs are to die for....and the Cheesecake-there just aren't any words for how unbelievable it was....be sure to save room for it-and if you don't-make the room-you won't be sorry!! The service was excellent also! Can't wait to go back!
Wonderful! Do Not Pass It Up!: Read about this place in Zagat's and thought we'd stop in. Lovely restaurant and very attentive service. We are not big spenders on food - preferred to buy bogus bags down the block on Canal Street instead - so we split 3 appetizers - the parmesan flan, italian crepes with porcini mushrooms, and the grilled eggplant with smoked mozzarella. Each dish was a taste of heaven. For dessert, the waiter highly recommended the ricotta cheesecake. I am a dessert lover but NEVER eat that kind of cheesecake. My friend ordered it and honestly, I am still dumbstruck as to how superlative it was. Gotta go back and have my own slice. I thought the prices somewhat on the high side but so worth it. Appetizers were about $14 each altho the dessert was only $8. Entrees averaged about $30. Glass of wine $9. Location is a bit awkward but that could be a good thing. It was a Sat night at 6:30p and half full.
