Right Mix of Food, Energy: Markt is a great place for great food in a relaxed, yet upbeat, setting. The mussels and other shellfish are prominent on the menu, but salads and sandwiches round out the selections. If you need a particular Belgian Beer, odds are they have it here.
An Old Favorite: Markt remains one of my favorite restaurants on the west side. Great service. Great food. Comfortable atmosphere, with just the right mix of patrons. It's not too stuff and not too sweet. As anyone will tell you, the mussels are great, but so is the other fare.
MUSSELS!!!: There's not too many spots you can go in the city and get a delicious serving of fresh mussels...Markt is one of them! They serve them in huge buckets, cooked in a variety of different ways! I highly recommend! Great beer selection as well!
