About:This is a Tex-Mex restaurant with a theme that also doubles up as a sort of metropolitan museum of cowgirl memorabilia. There are pictures and mementos of cowgirls, rodeo stars and country singers everywhere, and a popular gift shop. This is a fun-filled family spot, but it gets rather noisy. The food is all tastyfajitas, nachos, catfish, ribs, Chicken Fried Steaks, Chuck Wagon Chili, Texas Onion Loaf, Enchiladas and Chops are all popular, as are margaritas and "pearly gates" (pina coladas).

    I love cowgirl! The closest tex-tex you can get in NYC. Even the vegetarian chili is decent.

    my favorite: cowgirls is really good, the food is great my favorite dish is "chicken nachos" the place is very calm and relaxed.

    A great family/friend place to eat.: This is a Tex-Mex restaurant. The decor leaves lots to be desired, but the food is really good. I had a chance to enjoy brunch with some good friends. Cowgirl is great place to enjoy good food with either friends or family.
