User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe most horrible experience at this resturant on april 18th 2009. It was my birthday and I went with my family and my friends. My appointment was at 8.30 pm and we were there at 8.40 pm. The appetizers were served after 40 minutes and the food was not served till 2 hours after. We did not eat our food as my 13 month old son was crying because of heat in the resturant. I had to tell the man at the seating desk about 3 times and take off my son's clothes so that he could feel a little better, then they turned on the A/C but it was too late and we were frustrated. we were about to leave and they asked us to sit back that the food was served. Up on telling them we were leaving and we were not eating they had the nerve to hand me my bill. I was too tired and my son was so irritated and also the family sitting next to us who came from Boston were fighting because ofthe same problem and even worst the person had a piece of glass in his food. I signed and left. But I did put the charge back with Amex and the guys had nerve to tell Amex and such an occurence never happened at their resturant. Now let me tell you something this was 20th odd time at this resturant and they always lacked customer service but thier food was good. This time they topped everything to make my trip at the resturant the most horrifying experience of all unfortunately it happened to be my birthday. I am going to try everything in my power to shut down this resturant in Manhattan and I believe I would not have to work that hard as they will help themselves in doing so.

I was lucky enough to dine in this restaurant over 12yrs ago + have NEVER eaten a meal like it since!!!!, cannot recomend it highly enough, the whole experience there is faultless,
im a Chef by trade (20yrs in the business!!!!!)+ i live in Birmingham UK, which is renowned for its Indian/Asian cuisine, if someone with my background gives it ***** its gotta be guuuuuuuuuuuuud!!!!!!!!!
