| About: | The area surrounding Grand Central Terminal has long been a restaurant wasteland, but this sleek, elegant sushi restaurant has gone a long way towards changing that. Locals and commuters flock here for the large selection of fresh, innovative sushi and sashimi dishes, as well as some other Japanese dishes. The spicy tuna rolls are just that-very spicy. There is a relaxing ambiance, elegant and immaculate but minimalist. All this luxury does not come cheap however. |

Really really really really good! I came here on vacation and loved it! I wish I lived in New York just so I can come to this place..
What else can you expect when you combine medium priced food with medium level service, other than mediocrity?
Yasuda doesn't have the worst sushi we've ever had but it definitely comes close. We have not had such bland and similar tasting fish in quite some time. Our waitress barely spoke English and when she did it was so quiet we had to ask her to repeat herself many times which we felt bad about. We ordered a variety of sushi and sashimi to try out this "highly recommended" restaurant and were not impressed or even satisfied. No presentation skills, sloppily made rolls that look like they were mass produced rather than hand made.
The only great thing about this place is their welcome and their fish liver appetizer which was very unique and delicious.
If you like Sushi and Sashimi, do not go to Yasuda. My stomach hates me right now.
Great atmosphere, service, food. It was perfect.
Haven't tried Sushi of Gari yet, but this is the best sushi I've ever had.
