| About: | Seeda Thai II is a must for visitors to NYC and is recommended by the New York Times, Zagat's, Gourmet and Playbill. Enjoy some of the best, exotic, and authentic Thai-Vietnamese cuisine in New York. Always filled with locals, the front bar boasts a large tropical fish tank and a waterfall of Christmas lights. A skylight lights the rear seating area, and the walls are covered with Thai art in the traditional red and gold colors. Very spicy and infused with flavor, the dishes are consistently good, and the additional Vietnamese menu is a treat. Modestly priced, the entrees are traditional like the Kai Pad Puk (sauteed chicken with vegetables) and the Kang Sapparod (pineapple curry shrimp). A favorite on the menu is the Vietnamese summer rolls. |

Makes me wish I lived in NY!: WOW! Visited NYC for the first time ever, ate at Seeda my first night and it left a great first impression on me of the city. I love Thai food and this was the most amazing! Great selection, great flavors and such prompt and friendly service. I ate at a few Thai places during my trip and this was by far the best. I HIGHLY recommend.
Excellent!!!: We have discovered this restaurant 2 1/2 yrs ago by my husband's boss. He recommended this restaurant located in NY city. The food was perfect! from the appetizer which was the spring rolls with peanut sauce and beef satay to the main entree: Duck with sweet, chilli, garlic sauce. It was sizzling on a platter! The duck was crispy and yet tender inside. It is a bit spicy on a side but you will yearn for more bite! Pad thai with shrimp was the one of their best dish. (Not greasy or too much of everything this I like to take home to my daughter for she like noodles and shirmp and not spicy) After this try their dessert! Fried banana with Ice cream... Simple yet tasteful for the finishing touch. I have eaten a lot of different dishes and Thai food is one of the most creative dish on spices. Service was way friendly, they were closing and yet they weren't hurrying us to finish up. All was done in very good manner. Value of the money?! It is affordable and worth the trip. I live in NJ
