The Redeye Grill is wonderful. The food is spectacular!! Lots of celebs there to see! Last time I was there I saw LL Kool J and Steve White (remember from The Practice). Its a little small and cramped, but that only adds to the ambiance. Some might say pricey, but hey, it is NYC!!! But remember it is the food that is a standout here. A must try!!!!

Misinfomation: The information about the restaraunt on this page is alittle misleading such as there is no smoking even in the outdoor seating and it isnt very family friendly more of a adult atmosphere. Nothing really on the menu for children and a bit pricey and no live music except on sundays

you're right on with no children's menu and the live music...but it's a given on the no-smoking- you can't smoke anywhere where food is served at any restaurant- regardless of indoors or out.

nice surprise!: went here with a friend on a whim, we went someplace else first and couldn't get a table. Service here was great, food was fantastic. Guacamole+shrimp appetizer was really great, we both had the filet, very good, didn't much like the frites that came with, but the filet was so good, neither of us cared.

Will absolutely visit again. Maybe tomorrow ;-)
